Shipping & delivery

Last updated: May 2026

To support compliance and clarity for everyone who uses TryShopper, we publish this shipping and delivery policy. It outlines relevant information such as delivery timelines, shipping methods, applicable fees, and other important delivery terms for customers.

1. How delivery works

TryShopper connects you with independent shoppers who source items and bring them to the delivery address you provide. We facilitate the order, estimates, messaging, and payments through the platform; your shopper carries out the physical shopping and delivery unless we tell you otherwise.

2. Delivery timelines

Delivery time depends on store opening hours, item availability, distance, traffic, and your responsiveness during the order (for example when approving estimates or substitutions). Where the product allows it, we aim for same-day or prompt delivery in your city—but any estimate shown in the app is an indication, not a guaranteed deadline, unless we expressly say otherwise for a specific offer.

You will see timing guidance when you review quotes or order updates. If something changes materially (for example a delay at checkout), your shopper should communicate through the platform, or via phone call or email, so you stay informed.

3. Shipping methods and service area

Orders are fulfilled by shoppers travelling to stores and delivering to you in person (or as described in your order instructions). Service is intended for addresses in Nigeria where the platform operates and a shopper accepts your order. We do not use a separate courier network unless that is stated for a particular flow.

You must provide a complete, accurate delivery address and any access instructions (gate codes, landmarks). Incorrect or incomplete addresses may delay or prevent delivery and may affect who pays for extra costs, as described in our Terms & Conditions.

4. Fees and what you pay

Applicable fees—including item costs, shopper charges, delivery-related amounts, and platform or payment processing line items—are shown in the app before you confirm payment steps where the product requires it. Final amounts may follow receipts and approvals according to the order flow you see (for example estimates, then final totals). If you are unsure about a charge, contact support before completing payment.

5. Handover and delivery confirmation

When your shopper completes delivery, you may be asked to confirm handover (for example with a short code in the app). That confirmation helps us record that you received the order and triggers settlement steps described in the app. If you refuse delivery without a valid reason agreed with support, standard order and refund rules in our terms may apply.
