Your catalogue goes live after TryShopper approves your application.
This guide is for store owners on TryShopper — from your first application to confirming pickups and receiving bank payouts. TryShopper is nationwide: partner stores across Nigeria can list products customers browse by state and city.

Before you start

  • Create a store-owner account — Sign up and choose the store-owner role.
  • Have your business details ready — Store name, owner contact, street address, city, and state.
  • Optional but helpful — Logo, short description, and a Nigerian bank account for payouts (you can add payout details after approval).

Step 1 — Register your store

Go to Register your store (/store/register) and submit your application.
  • Fill in store name, owner name, phone, and optional email.
  • Enter your full location — street, city, and state. You can pin the address on a map.
  • Tap Submit application.
You will see a confirmation that your store is pending approval. TryShopper reviews every application before your catalogue appears to customers. You can still open the store dashboard and complete your profile while you wait.

Step 2 — While your application is pending

  • Store dashboard — Open /store/dashboard. A banner explains that products stay hidden until approval.
  • Profile — Add your logo, description, and refine your address under Profile → Business.
  • Products — You can draft products, but they are not visible on the public catalogue until you are approved.
  • Notifications — Turn on push alerts under Profile → Notifications so you do not miss pickup requests after go-live.

When approved, you will receive confirmation (including email if you provided one). Rejected applications can contact support.

Step 3 — List your products

After approval, customers can find your store on TryShopper.

  • Go to ProductsAdd product.
  • Set name, category, price, unit (e.g. per kg, per pack), photo, and description.
  • Mark items In stock or Out of stock — only in-stock products appear in the catalogue.
  • Edit or remove products anytime from the products list.

Share your store link or QR code from the dashboard so customers can open your catalogue directly.

Two ways customers buy from you

Direct store pickup — The customer pays on TryShopper, visits your shop, and shows a collection code (starts with CL-). You confirm the code in your store app to mark the order collected.
Shopper-mediated pickup — The customer adds your catalogue items to a personal-shopping order. A TryShopper shopper buys and collects from you using a pickup ref (not the customer’s CL- code). You mark the order prepared when items are ready; the shopper collects without entering your collection code.

Step 4 — Handle orders on the Orders page

Open Orders from the store nav. New orders appear here and refresh when status changes.
Direct pickup orders
  • When the customer has paid, the order shows as ready for pickup.
  • Pack the items listed for your store.
  • Toggle Prepared when the bag is ready (optional but helps operations).
  • When the customer arrives, ask for their collection code and enter it in the order card.
  • Tap confirm — the slice is marked collected and the sale moves toward payout.
Shopper-mediated orders
  • You are notified when the shopper starts shopping.
  • Mark Prepared when items are packed.
  • When the shopper arrives, use Mark picked up — no CL- code is required for this flow.

Extra charges

If the customer’s order needs an add-on (e.g. packaging fee or an item substitution with a price difference), you can raise an extra charge on the order detail. The customer pays through TryShopper before the charge is settled.

Cancelling a store slice

If a pickup cannot go ahead, either party can start cancellation for that store’s slice. TryShopper generates a code — both the store and the customer must enter the same code to complete cancellation. Refunds follow platform rules for paid slices.

Sales and payouts

  • Sales — View revenue, pending payout, and paid-out totals under Sales. Export CSV for your records.
  • Bank account — Link your Nigerian bank under Profile → Payout before your first transfer.
  • When you get paid — After the customer or shopper confirms collection, your share moves through payout processing to your linked account.

Quick checklist

Do
  • Complete your profile and location before or right after approval.
  • Keep stock status accurate so customers only see what you can sell.
  • Confirm direct pickups only with the customer’s CL- collection code.
  • Turn on push notifications for pickup alerts.
  • Link payout details early.
Don’t
  • Don’t hand over goods on a direct pickup without confirming the collection code in the app.
  • Don’t leave products marked in stock when you cannot fulfil them.
  • Don’t share one collection code across multiple customers — each order has its own.

Once approved, your store is part of TryShopper’s partner catalogue nationwide. List clearly, confirm pickups in the app, and use Sales to track what you have earned.
